These Are a small selection of our work, We have done projects for Channel 4, The Canal and River Trust, Derby Museums and video content and photos shoots for companies of all sizes.

We would love to work with you...

Photography sessions start from £30 per hour, and video projects are based on a £250 day rate.

We create a first cut and then complete the final edit with you, so you can shape the film together with us making the process fun, collaborative, and stress-free and everything you are happy with!

🎭 New Project Alert! 🎭

We’re excited to be working with UKLC this summer on a fantastic Summer School programme, where students will be learning English through drama and performing arts!

Throughout the programme, students will build confidence in their English skills while exploring acting, storytelling, and performance techniques in a fun and creative environment. From drama workshops to rehearsals, they’ll experience the magic of performance while developing their communication and teamwork skills.

The summer will end with a fantastic final show, where students will take to the stage and showcase everything they’ve learned! 🌟

We can’t wait to get started and work with these amazing young performers this summer. Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes updates! 🎬✨

🎬 New Project Alert! 🎬

We’re thrilled to be teaming up with the fantastic Skills 4 All on an exciting new Film & TV project exploring AI and filmmaking! 🤖🎥

Together, we’ll be supporting young people as they enter the Childnet Film Competition, guiding them through the entire filmmaking journey from pre-production and planning, through production, and all the way to post-production.

Our goal? To help these brilliant young creatives produce a fantastic, professional-quality film and hopefully see them walking the red carpet when their work is showcased! ⭐

This project will give participants a real insight into the ins and outs of the film industry, building skills, confidence, and creativity along the way.

We couldn’t be more excited to collaborate with such a brilliant organisation and to work with these inspiring young filmmakers. Watch this space! 👀✨

It’s an older project, but one I still love sharing especially because it shows what I really enjoy filming: the behind the scenes of a business.

Lately I’ve been getting asked a lot more about content creation, and honestly, I love it. Showing the people, the process, and the heart behind a business is my favourite part of what I do.

A little behind-the-scenes reel from some of the work I did with the Canal & River Trust last year 🎬
Working with their education team, we explored creative ways for students to learn all about our waterways. We made short films, built bridges, created clay animations, and did lots of acting and role-play stepping into the shoes of the people who built and worked on the canals.

A little creative shorts reel while I’m still editing and building our films for businesses and the documentary reel. There’s so much lovely footage from over the years to share and showreels always take me agessss…

This is a mix of projects I’ve loved creating over the last few years: my Master’s films, education and dance films, creative shoots, drone and music video work, TV pilot development (Don’t Lick The Walls), and schemes like Channel 4 Random Acts and young directors/writers programmes.

Not a final showreel (yet) just sharing some of the moments I keep coming back to while I refine and trim. Let me know what you think.

All shot on Blackmagic Cinema cameras or my trusty Canon 5D. I love being a DOP and directing visually putting stories together is where I really shine.

I’m Jenny, a filmmaker and actress, and for the past 10 years, I’ve been working with schools to deliver custom filmmaking projects, drama activities, and theatre shows, helping pupils build confidence, teamwork, and wellbeing through the arts.

And now… for the first time, we’re offering PPA cover workshops tailored to your school’s needs! YAY!

Over the years, we’ve partnered with amazing organisations such as Into Film, The Canal & River Trust, Film Cymru, and Lead Creative Schools, delivering bespoke projects in filmmaking and drama. Combined with our professional film work, we’ve met incredible filmmakers and actors and now they’re joining us to bring exciting, inspiring programs directly into schools.

Here are a few behind-the-scenes snaps from what has been an incredible (and very busy!) few weeks!

🎭 I’ve delivered some fantastic workshops for The Lyceum Theatre with our Scribble Skills workshops in Animation.
🖤 I have Directed and produced The Addams Family with our amazing PQA Nantwich students and team
🎸 Produced School of Rock and a West End show with our brilliant PQA Chester dream team
🚌 Took the team on a trip to see Stranger Things – The First Shadow
🛠️ And squeezed in plenty of Scribble magic — building sets, sorting costumes and props, organising coaches, show food shops, rehearsals and workshops with our wonderful partners!

It’s been full-on, creative, colourful chaos… and I love looking back at everything we have achieved over the last few weeks!
So proud to have produced three fantastic shows this term! 🤩🎭💛

Wow – 10 years ago Scribble Box was just getting started! A 21 year old Jenny and a camera and lots of drive to make my own business. Back then I started with performing small theatre shows in schools, filming theatre shows and selling DVDs, running after school film clubs, Film in a Day workshops, music video parties with The Academy For Performing Arts, teaching Arts Award and LAMDA acting classes. 💡🎥

I absolutely love looking back at all those first projects and partnerships over the last 10 years– We worked with some amazing arts organisations including the Ann Frank Trust, More than English and many more they’re where the Scribble journey began. 💜 Here’s to a decade of creativity, collaboration, and colourful stories… and so much more to come! 🌈 Scribble has always ran along side my other acting, filming and photography freelance work but I am excited to bring it all together this year in the form of Scribble Creative!!

🍂✨ September Reset! ✨🍂

I know it might seem a little random to do a year-round up in September, but for those of us who work in schools, this is when everything feels fresh and new. 💡 Plus, I’m usually terrible at posting about my freelance projects on social media… so why not kick things off with a little round-up?

Here’s what I’ve been up to over the past year with Scribble Creative...
🎭 Partnering with Lyceum Theatre on animation workshops, Halloween filmmaking projects, and lots more exciting sessions.
🌊 Working as Educational Creative Film Producer with the Canal & River Trust, helping three schools develop creative education projects around our waterways.
🎬 collaborating with Arts Council Wales as a creative practitioner. I spent 8 weeks in two fantastic schools, using drama and filmmaking to spark creativity with Year 1s and Year 4s – This is a project I do every spring and I just love it!

It’s been a busy, inspiring year, and I can’t wait to see what the next Scribble adventures bring. 💜

Over the years, I’ve worked as a camera operator, director, and performer across film, photography, and theatre. Storytelling is at the heart of what I do, whether that’s through TV, film, marketing collaborations, or educational projects. 🎬📸

I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with amazing companies like Channel 4, BBC, and ITV, as well as many brilliant smaller businesses – always focusing on bringing ideas to life in fun and meaningful ways.

🌈 Scribble Creative is my hub for everything from photography shoots and films for businesses, set building and theatre shows while Scribble Box Productions is where I deliver creative workshops in schools. I am excited to bring this altogether!

Outside of my freelance projects, I’m also the proud Principal of PQA Chester and PQA Nantwich, part of The Pauline Quirke Academy. I absolutely love producing shows and films with young people!

Super excited to have been commissioned as a lead artist for the Canal and River Trust to work in Llangollen Canals with schools to make a fabulous film project about the history or the canals. I enjoyed my first day today. Lunch and coffee on the canal meeting lots of people in the community who will help to tell the stories of the town, aqueduct and amazing work that goes on to preserve this amazing heritage site 🎬

A couple of behind the scenes shots from our first test shoot for our short film collaboration @dontlickthewalls_ At the end of last year @kittyriggs_ sent me her fantastic script for her series @dontlickthewalls_ A beautiful comedy coming of age series about mental health and friendship. The script is fab and I can really see it being a number one of Netflix in the next few years but being an independent creative is never easy so we have decided to make a short pilot episode to get the show of the ground. Go follow @dontlickthewalls_ to see this project coming together and how we navigate making something authentic and interesting and obtain funding from any sources we can 🤣 Yesterdays was all about finding the perfect locations and testing a shoot in the sea before we make our cast do it 😂🎥🎬
